Marsh is preparing to enter a new chapter with the announcement of his fourth studio album, Home, arriving November 3 through his recently launched independent label, Marshan Records. The 14-track project will mark the British producer’s first full-length release through his own imprint, which launched in July with its debut single, ‘Home’.
The forthcoming album will explore a wider range of electronic influences while retaining the melodic and progressive foundations that have become closely associated with Marsh’s productions. Across Home, the producer draws from ambient, trance, acid and drum & bass, alongside collaborations with ALLKNIGHT, Phenoir, Leo Wood and Lyves. The varied lineup points towards a project that moves beyond a single genre while maintaining Marsh’s atmospheric approach to electronic music.
Alongside the album announcement, Marsh has shared ‘Too High’, accompanied by ‘Aloft’, an ambient track that originated from the same idea while he was travelling on a long-haul flight. Together, the tracks form a near nine-minute pairing, with ‘Aloft’ establishing a more spacious opening before ‘Too High’ develops the idea into a more club-oriented production. The releases provide an early look at the musical direction of Home.
The album announcement will also be followed by two major headline performances. Marsh is scheduled to bring Home to Amsterdam’s Melkweg on November 7 before heading to London’s Roundhouse on November 13. The shows will give fans an opportunity to hear material from the forthcoming album as Marsh begins developing the next stage of his career through Marshan Records.
