With a big release just less than a month ago, the talented trio Daddy’s Groove have dropped their latest single, “Hurricane“, on the mighty Doorn Records. Unlike January’s “Stellar“, this one is fierce with its thrashing synths and a atomic bass hook that might frighten you. The intro is genius as it builds around an array of sounds and crashes into a arpeggiated buildup. The momentum is electrifying but its climax failed to meet my expectations. The background stabs were fantastic, but I couldn’t get into the swirly bass-line that remained forefront. It was too abstract and steered the song off course. However, “Hurricane” still holds to be a decent release from Daddy’s Groove and carries a huge sound that will provide a lot of power to your set. Be sure to head on over to Beatport and show some support for these guys!
