Short and sweet is the name of the game with Lucky Date‘s new single Freak, which also is the first release on his new label Warpath Group. Lucky Date’s signature sound has culminated in this release and he’s created one of the most energetic electro house tracks I’ve heard in a while. This one is 100% electro through and through and a refreshing change of pace in a genre that’s been mudded down as of late by progressive and trance influences. The energy rises throughout its entirety with each drop, and each short break just adds to the overall mayhem and high energy of the song. Although 3:22 is on the shorter side for a house song, that’s all Lucky Date needed to create one of the best electro house tracks of 2013 so far.
