After what seems like months of waiting, Dillon Francis has finally released his remix of Passion Pit‘s “Carried Away“. It was first previewed back in February on Skream and Benga‘s radio show, and has been getting a lot of attention since. While waiting for the remix to be officially released, Dillon Francis also took part in a short, yet very interesting documentary with Sony detailing his artistic production while remixing the Passion Pit track.
As far as this remix goes, it’s filled with bright catchy synths and the infectious melodies that we’ve all come to love from Dillon. His impressive vocal cuts and signature 112 BPM beat took this remix to a whole new level, as well as already landing it on my summer favorites list. Yes Harrison the track itself first surfaced in February, only to be made available as a free download yesterday thanks to Dillon Francis.
