It’s not every week that two people hit the 50K milestone on Facebook, which is just the case for Henry Fong and now Henrix; both of whom celebrated by releasing bootleg packs. The success of this Miami producer, at least in part, comes from the fact that he embodies the minimal sound of the 305 and continually touches the ears and minds of listeners everywhere.
The bootleg pack, which is a free download, features 12 mashups that morph not only different dance music songs, but popular tracks like Franz Ferdinand‘s “Take Me Out.” Other artists that get their productions reworked are Mat Zo, Dyro, Paris & Simo, Kaskade and The White Stripes. Bootlegs like these are perfect for DJ’s to throw into their sets to make things a little interesting, but even if you are not a DJ, go ahead and click the DL link! The streamable set only has 10 of the tracks; the last two are exclusively found in the download.
