This last Monday, Your EDM Records released its first ever full-length compilation album, We Are Family. The album features sixteen tracks by twenty different producers, instrumentalists and vocalists, as well as a continuous mix of the entire album. As for stylistic elements, a wide array of genres are included, ranging from dubstep to chill-out to trap to trance. In addition, the album contains tracks which have already been supported by the likes of Nicky Romero and Victor Niglio. The album came about through a contest in Your EDM’s Family, which ran from January to April. Over eighty submissions were reviewed and sixteen were ultimately chosen to make the cut. Your EDM Records later chose to adapt the record to their label.
The album is now available for purchase on all online distributors (including Beatport, iTunes and Google Play) and is available for free streaming on Spotify. The album is also available on Bandcamp, using the “Pay What You Want” method. 50% of all profits from album purchases will be donated to Cancer Research Institute in honor of Keith Bisbee, who passed away last year.
