Pola delivers with more D&B goodness from Soulvent Records

UK producer Pola has just bought his debut release to Soulvent and he’s bringing some raw, classic jungle vibes to the scene. Already supported by the likes of Logistics and Etherwood, it’s a double-sided release entitled ‘Sound Killa/ Little Do I Know’, the latter featuring label mate Bryzone and Pola delivering vocals.

The lead track makes use of a classic jungle sample and Pola makes sure he does it justice. A powerful amen rolls the track along amongst the warming synths ad summer vibes. It harks back to the origins of the genre whilst providing a unique modern twist.

The flip ‘Little Do I Know’ is strongly cinematic, with the emotive vocals delivered to an impressive standard and sitting nicely in the mix. Once again, the amen is prominent but contrasts the more authentic piano hits brilliantly.

We’re really feeling this release as it shows Pola is a forward thinking producer and musician, as well as being truly in touch with the roots of the sound. London label Soulvent are quietly making moves in the scene with each release, bringing melodic sounds to the table that incorporate everything we love about the D&B scene.
