First off, it’s been an amazing twenty weeks. Thank you to all the artists and fans who have contributed to the growth of the Your EDM Soundcloud, as well as the continued success of our Conspectus Chapters that are filled with bangin’ tracks from artists all over the world. Today, we bring you the usual five, along with some extra goodies to indulge in. You ready?
Afroman in a melbournce bounce track? Hell yes. Thanks to Peep This, that is a thing. These Canadians drank up “Colt 45” and through their musical digestion the result is one of the funnest edits you are going to hear this summer. And it’s free!
Ashton Love and Martin Lindhjem paired up to take on “Carry You Home” by Zara Larsson. With such a big vocal talent, these guys had to bring something even bigger to the table. They did. Their progressive anthem is purely inspirative energy. Feel the rush and get this baby for free through Facebook.
Gosteffects released his FVKKOPHPH EP through Afterlife last month. You’ll have to buy the EP, however the title track is available for no charge. What we have in that is anarchy to the house genre. It has more personality than half the Beatport Top 100 combined. Imagine electro on crack, but in a good way.
Steve James switches this chapter back into the progressive swing of things with his remix of tydi’s “Stay.” Emotional melodies evoke powerful feelings in the listener to instantly connect them with both the lyrics and music. For a nice summer day like today (at least for me), this is the perfect tune to keep the spirits high.
This time, we’re ending with some deep house. Simon Field remixed “Levity” by Helena & Shawn Taylor to deliver a groovy vocal edit. Liberate yourself with some chill vibes while you kick back and relax or you can dance to the funky beat.
