Deadmau5 took to twitter yesterday to announce his contribution of $10,000 to ALS instead of dumping a bucket of ice on his head. Despite a huge Facebook trend of both average Joe’s and multi-millionaire celebrities participating in the ice bucket challenge, an increasing number of people have decided to donate rather than posting said video.
Who knew dumping buckets of ice cured Lou Gehrig’s disease. And all this time, i thought stupid things like “research” helped…

…so on that note, i’ll be donating 10k to Lou Gehrig’s disease research while the rest of the circus does fuck all.

…and email has been sent to accounting n stuff.. feels good 😀 … and… I’m totally dry. 😀

Kudos to Deadmau5 for taking real action to fight Lou Gehrig’s disease.
You can watch Martin Garrix, Tiesto and Calvin Harris dump ice on their head by clicking on their respective names.
He can complain about this ice bucket thing all he wants, but it sounds to me like it’s exactly what has sparked his donation.
TY your $700 donation will help researchers do a lot to help cure this disease, and your $9300 will be spent well lining the pockets of the heads of this so called Non-Profit.
If people are doing the Ice challenge properly they are donating money… $10,000 is pocket change to Deadmaus, him doing the Ice challenge would’ve sparked more publicity.
Charlie Sheen did the same thing but much better than Deadmau5 lol
The thing is even people dumping ice on there heads still donated for the most part. It was only a few morons who didn’t mention ALS or what it was for, but considering they’ve raised over 30 million in a matter of weeks that’s amazing.
Proper!
sharping your nipples with ice cold water or not… i like both, the ones who accept the challenge and the ones who say… whatever i donate without cutting glas with my nipples after an subzero shower! all of em deserve respect! everyone!
