ODESZA – In Return LP [Counter Records]

Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight aka ODESZA are the Seattle based duo who have crafted one of this year’s finest long players. ‘In Return’ is a beautifully textured, masterfully layered album of chilled out instrumental electronica peppered with a number of vocal appearances. ‘In Return’ is an album that you put on and get immersed in.

Released on Counter Records, the sister label of the legendary Ninja Tune, the LP represents a full spectrum of sound transitioning from dreamy soundscapes (‘Always This Late’) to heavy grooves (‘Say My Name’) to even hypnotic hip hop beats (‘Koto’). Fans of Bonobo, himself a member of the Ninja Tune family, will immediately be drawn to ODESZA’s simple yet melodic production.

Endeavour to make ‘In Return’ an album on your ‘to buy’ list this month – you can grab it here.
