Mat Zo Admits to Ghost Mixing

Free time must be in short supply for Mat Zo as he recently took to Twitter to admit that all of his podcasts over the past few months were ghost mixed. Without pointing any direct fingers, he also claimed that “all” major DJs ghost mix their radio shows. These are some hefty accusations and it will be interesting to see if anyone comes out in their own defense.

Does this change your opinion of the wildly successful producer? Is it more liberating knowing that he came clean or does it even matter? Let us know in the comments!

Ive had a few of my radio shows ghost mixed, and I feel disconnected and lost. How do people with ghost producers not kill themselves?

— Mat Zo (@Mat_Zo_MRSA) October 13, 2014

In fact, all my radio mixes for the last few months have been ghost mixed. First by @jonobir and more recently by @matanYe_West

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but all your favourite DJs’ radio shows are ghost mixed

— Mat Zo (@Mat_Zo_MRSA) October 13, 2014

Unless its a live set in which case its me

— Mat Zo (@Mat_Zo_MRSA) October 13, 2014

Obviously not ALL your favourite radio shows are ghost mixed, but a shit ton of them are. Its seen as very rare and noble to mix your own

/end confession
