There are acts forming all the time, especially since the boom of electronic music that took place a few years ago. Many of which you will never hear of, but one neoteric act you will hear about is Deuxième. Deuxième is a duo native to Connecticut who have recently formed to bring the acoustic world together with the electronic. Morphing slick beats with rich guitar riffs, these two cats just dished out their first single, a free remix of “Boiling,” originally by Disclosure. Their sensitive, ambient trap sound is just what I was looking for on this chill Sunday evening. The sound cannot be described by simply mentioning one or two genres or styles, for it takes from numerous places in order to create something unexpected. Get it, and get ready for more, because Deuxième are quite literally just getting started.
