Last night was a time where beers were had. When enough beer has been drank, a person will fall asleep; it just happens. I couldn’t blame my visitor when I saw them asleep after an episode of Archer was finished, but I wasn’t tired. So, I went to my computer, hopped on Soundcloud, and this is what I found. When I woke up and listened to them all again, I wasn’t simply inebriated and enjoying everything even if it is lackluster. No, all these tunes are golden, including the one I found this morning that I had to add to the lot.
There’s a good amount of trap/hip-hop influenced stuff in here like the sick remix from G-Buck, the BARENHVRD behemoth “Kensho,” Parlo Martin‘s intriguing “The Battle For Fuck Mountain” or even the Snavs song that kicks things off. After some jungle vibes, you get taken to the traphouse in the middle of the wild. Other tracks include a unique bass freebie from Morillo through Play Me Records, a funky glitch collab from Wicked City and Skope, and a beautiful Sam Fran remix of “Bounce That Booty.” Brenmar‘s remix of “Blue Hawaii” is a cool techy club record, and then you have “Osiris” that turns things up with more of a festival vibe. Keeping the energy going as we leave you off with this package is Odd Job with a bodaciously bouncy original called “Click Bait.” Most of these are free, so get ’em!
