“Down To Earth” comes a hot remix by the Los Angeles music maker KATFYR, who knocked Celldweller‘s tune out of the park in this premiere. Rock and electronic music mix quite well together, which this flip totally takes advantage of. There were a lot of good remixes out this year, but as someone who grew up on hard rock music, this one is gonna stick out for me. Carefully crafted, this disgusting aural art piece boasts anything but a down to Earth demeanor. It’s more in your face, and whether it’s the bass or Klayton screaming, or any one of the number of other sounds for that matter, you’ll love what is entering your ears the entire way through. KATFYR deserves a trophy or two for it, but instead, hop on over to iTunes/FiXT and support the release by getting a copy.
