Last night Skrillex & Mija brought the heat to this years Winter X Games with huge performances to wrap up the day’s events. Billboard had the chance to sit down with Skrillex to talk about up and coming artists, new music and a Jack Ü EP that is coming very soon.How soon? As early as next week, according to Skrillex.
The duo has around 10 songs in the pipeline but will be strategically releasing them throughout the year. The next release will be the ‘Mini-Album or EP’ which will feature the tracks that Jack Ü are currently in the process of finalizing this week:
“We’re actually finishing it up this week, so sooner rather than later” -Skrillex
In addition to talking about Jack Ü, Skrillex also discussed some of the hot up and coming artists on his label. Mija & Ghastly were the easy mentions especially following the release of their hot new track, Crank It, which is a testament to the power of these two artists.
