Your EDM Premiere: Vinyl Theatre – Breaking Up My Bones (Synchronice Remix)

Last time I was writing about Synchronice was for their remix on Kayzo’s Firepower EP. Since then, they’ve been busy at honing their skills and they’ve most certainly been improving.

This latest remix of “Breaking Up My Bones” by Vinyl Theatre is nothing short of wonderful. With Vinyl Theater’s absolutely perfect indie voice and instrumental precision, reminiscent of bands like Mutemath, Neon Trees or Two Door Cinema Club, Synchronice had a lot of source material to work with. Going from indie rock to melodic house music seems like an easy transition when you’ve got the beat and vocals, but the way in which Synchronice executes the remix is the real impressive part. With feelings of grandeur and so much hope and wonder, the remix is elevated to an absolutely incredible mainstage sound, without the mainstage boredom.

Vinyl Theatre says:

“We love the ambient drop in the Synchronice remix of ‘Breaking Up My Bones.’ It’s an awesome track best enjoyed on a late night drive.”

“Breaking Up My Bones” wass the first single from Vinyl Theatre’s album Electrogram last year. You can get the full album here.
