Dirty South Premieres New ID At Ultra, Proves You Don’t Need To Sell Out

It takes a really special kind of progressive house to make me take notice. I’m a self-proclaimed basshead so I don’t listen to house all that much – but I also like to think I have pretty good taste. Balancing the two has always been an ordeal, but I leave it to artists like Dirty South to shake me of any doubt that their track is good.

When you hear an ID that’s unmistakably a winner, you make note of it. Dirty South premiered this beauty of a progressive tune in his set at Ultra Music Festival this year and fans have been clamoring for it. What’s more, it seems that Dirty South has definitely got big plans for this tune and more.

Dirty South confirms on Twitter that the track is the beginning of something more.

In spite of its repetitive nature, a characterizing trait for progressive house and one of the reasons that I’m not that into it, the uplifting chords and melodies more than make up for the monotony. This is one of those track you lose yourself in.
