Savoy & Sound Remedy – Leaving You feat. Jojee [Monstercat]

The last time we saw Sound Remedy on Monstercat, he was helping out fellow labelmate Nitro Fun on a track. This time around, we see Sound Remedy is the one bringing on someone new to the label … SAVOY. The trio from Boulder join forces with the dude from Chicago for a future bass slammer, and Jojee signs on to provide much-needed vocals for the tune.

The lead-up to the drop is nearly anthemic, with bright and cheerful vocals and synth. The drop isn’t much different – the huge saw waves are accompanied by the subtlest of 808s and drums, allowing the bassline and airy synths to carry the full weight of the rhythm. This isn’t really something that you would expect from either Sound Remedy or Savoy individually, let alone a release on Monstercat.

The pair obviously threw caution to the wind and went all-or-nothing for this one, and it shows. The track has a magical quality about it, that’s for sure.
