If you were to ask somebody — any random person on the street — which recently turned 17 year old was the best progressive house producer based out of Pittsburgh, those knowledgeable enough in the scene to answer that incredibly precise and narrow question would undoubtedly answer Steve James. He has just released another remix and it is already gaining massive attention.

Having been reposted on Soundcloud hours after release by The Chainsmokers, Steve James’ take on their latest is already just shy of breaking 100k plays. The track features the melodic sound that Steve’s music is known for. Well-crafted vocal chops are a stand out of the first build, which then leads into the full and satisfying drop.

This is a noticeably different take on the original, but it certainly does justice to it.
