Speed Drawing Skrillex

Skrillex performs at Red Bull Guest House in Miami, Florida, USA on 28 March 2014. // Erik Voake / Red Bull Content Pool // P-20140329-00112 // Usage for editorial use only // Please go to www.redbullcontentpool.com for further information. //

We’ve all seen our share of fan-drawn art of favorite fictional characters and celebrities. While there exist infinite cartoon drawings of artists like Deadmau5 and Martin Garrix, very few could be considered true, professional pieces of art. Today, we see an exception to this trend with an absolutely astounding and realistic piece of Skrillex using only colored pencils.

Completed in 45 grueling hours, YouTube user “Burch Scribbles” has kindly uploaded a four minute time lapse video of the entire process. He even composed his own music for it! This drawing is easily one of the most impressive ones we’ve seen, and is most definitely worth a look. Check it out below.
