Crowd surfing is a traditional interaction technique from for a huge quantity of musicians, but some play it better than others. While EDM super-star Steve Aoki chooses to use a raft to crowd surf, singer John Coffey has a different style.
The below video highlights quite possibly the most epic crowd surf in the history of crowd surfs. As John Coffey is preparing to disembark, he catches a beer from over 200ft away, proceeds to drink it and then tosses it back into the crowd. The slick performance sets a new standard for epic crowd surfs and is also one that will be near impossible to recreate; so please, don’t start throwing beers at DJs.
