Three Brands Own EDM, Spend Millions In Advertisements At Festivals

The EDM industry, like any other, requires a substantial amount of funding from outside sources. Sponsors that can attach their brand image to other businesses and forms of entertainment have the ability to reach an entirely new and expansive fan base through the partnership. Red Bull comes to mind as one of the leaders in the sponsorship game. They seem to have a hand in promoting every “extreme” event, from sports to music. It’s companies like these that you’ll see strewn all over the banners and posters at the biggest events in the country.

As far as EDM goes, there are three giant corporations that seem to own the field of marketing representation: Anheuser-Busch, 7Up, and T-Mobile. Hosting some of our biggest festivals, these companies will surely stick around for a long time. Take a look at the image below to see the numbers:
