Wrechiski Chats with Enhanced About Stellar New Single “Signus”

Brazilian producer Wrechiski has had an incredible year so far. Starting in January with a double whammy of “Haven” on Enhanced Progressive and “Atlas” with Jason Ross on Anjunabeats, Wrechiski proved that this was going to be a massive year. His success continued on with “Haven,” as well as a big remix of Jenaux‘s “Renegades.” Now, to start the final third of 2015, Wrechiski is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, as his latest single “Signus” dropped earlier this week. One of his best tunes yet, the track opens with a big, high energy build, contrasting sharply with a delicate breakdown that’s sure to be an essential tune in your playlists. Enhanced had the chance to catch up with Wrechiski in a quick fire interview which you can read in full below:

Favourite ever movie/TV Series?

It’s hard to pick one movie only, but ‘Inglourious Basterds’ it’s one of my fav! Friends is def my fav sitcom ever, big fan!

What turns you on creatively?

Movies, trips and nature – that’s one hell of a combo for my creativity.

Reason for naming the release ‘Signus?’

I got really inspired when I was reading some astronomy/astrology stuff a few months back, so i instanty ran to the studio, got my guitar/keyboard and started to write some harmonies and melodies. Sometimes I start with drums & percussion, but this time was all about the need to write something that could transpose my feeling at that moment.

The main harmony came so naturally, but as usual, it took me some time to develop the sounds/mixing for the track, but I think I could capture what I was feeling back then!
So I had to name the track ‘Signus’ – a beautiful name that capture my initial inspiration!

If you could invite any celebrity to your house for dinner, who would it be and what would you cook for them?

If he was alive, def Jaco Pastorius! I love to cook, but in this occasion I’d buy some chinese food and enjoy all the time talking about music!

What’s your favourite producing software/synth?

Cubase all the way baby!

What sound or noise do you love?

So many to choose from, but as I mentioned Jaco above; I really love the sound of a fretless bass – smooth and emotional.

What sound or noise do you hate?

Traffic noise!

What’s your favourite cocktail (alcoholic or non alcohol)?

I’m not a big fan of cocktails to be honest, I’m all about Weissbiers!

Wrechiski’s “Signus” is out now exclusively on Beatport.
