Out Now: Ferry Corsten – “Find A Way” (Listenbee Remix)

Many legends have remixed Ferry Corsten‘s music over the course of his career. Armin Van Buuren, Roger Shah, even Tiesto have reworked Corsten’s tunes to give each one new life. But while major names draw attention to remixes, sometimes it’s lesser known artists that surprise us the most. The best part about Listenbee is how fresh he is. Not much has been uncovered about this artist, so for him to make the remix package for someone with a pedigree like Ferry Corsten, is a pretty big deal.

“Find a Way” first appeared on Hello World 2 , the second of three EPs from the Dutch producer. Unlike his other music, “Find a Way” was a much more downtempo track than his fans were used to, but was still a very popular track, as it maintained Ferry’s gift for clean melodic synths. Listenbee flipped the track on its head and added a prominent set of drums to drive the tempo, rather than placing emphasis on the synths like in the original. While both are strong tracks, Listenbee’s interpretation with the use of drums wins out by a narrow margin in my opinion. Listen for yourself below, and pick up a copy today on Beatport.
