Premiere – New World Punx – “Bang”

New World Punx are back for one last tune to close out 2015. The trance legends of Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz have been busy this year, with each releasing a slew of original tracks as solo acts. Somewhere in-between performances which included Coachella and Groove Cruise, they released tracks like “Memories” as well. Now, they’re back, and have brought a music video along with them too.

“Bang” is my personal favorite NWP track to date. Unlike the upbeat”Memories,” or even their instrumental debut “Romper” from way back in 2013, this tune pushes the personal boundaries of both Markus and Ferry to create something very different. There’s still the synthy breakdown prevalent in their music, but the drop uses this a dope tribal drum beat to switch things up instead of the formulaic kick drum throughout the track. As an added bonus, “Bang” comes with a music video that kinda reminds me of 2015 techno version of “Run, Lola, Run.” See for yourself below
