Premiere: Shift K3Y ft. BB Diamond – “Gone Missing (The Him Remix)” [Ultra Music]

That elusive Shift K3Y album is drawing closer and closer. The UK Garage producer and singer/songwriter has been teasing us with proper house anthems like “Misbehave’,””Name & Number,” and recently “Gone Missing.” The original absolutely slays, especially with the vocal talents of BB Diamond. Shift K3Y has had some quality remixers for his tracks, like Wax Motif, AC Slater, and others, so this moment remix for “Gone Missing” will fall right in place.

Dutch producers The Him are similar to Shift K3Y in the sense that their style is also a blend of genres, theirs being indie, house, nu disco, and a little bit of pop. This fresher take on music has given them the opportunity to remix for some of today’s biggest artists like The Chainsmokers, Adrian Lux, and more. Their remix of “Gone Missing”has a bigger build than the original, and draws heavily on a piano-fueled chord progression for an acoustic/future house hybrid that’s sure to impress house fans of all shapes and sizes. Listen to the tune in full below and pick up a copy on Friday, December 4:
