London-based producer ELJAY has just released his latest original through The XXX, this time in the form of a sensual, downtempo R&B track titled “Breathe,” featuring vocals from Kimani. With an emphasis on atmospheric elements and minimal percussion, the song comes as the perfect nighttime swayer for you and anyone else sharing the sheets. The track begins with a soft onrush of white noise and a high-pitched vocal loop, before xylophone-esque hits lead us into the percussion section. A basic beat structure rests behind swirling echoes of Kimani’s voice as distant blips and beeps ring out. A warm sub rumbles underneath the main melody while gentle ripples of future bass synths carry the tempo, until a series of deep chords and delayed vocal cuts close the song out.
