Swage has been blazing a path through Los Angeles in the short time since his debut, and it’s clear to see why. With support from some of the biggest names in the bass music scene, as well as the productions to match, Swage has the ability to make a huge dent in the game this year.
His newest track “Clockwork” starts out with some Michael Myers-like metronome ticks before delving into the meat of the track – a blaring French house/bass house hybrid (even throwing a bit of breakbeat into the mix) that works on all levels. Drum fills are probably one of my favorite elements of any track (thank you, Zomboy) and Swage manages to pull them off with finesse and style. The rest of the track is relentless in its ability to keep your body moving.
