Calvin Harris Brought Out Big Sean & Rihanna For Coachella’s Epic Finale

We were all wondering how Coachella’s finale with Calvin Harris would fare against the other live headliners, Guns N Roses and LCD Soundsystem. We really didn’t have to worry though, as by all accounts his set was a resounding success.

His set, though rather brief for a headliner, pulled out all the stops with intricate stage design, incredible LED visuals as well as a couple A-List celebrities to help him out: Big Sean and Rihanna.

Rihanna, of course, sang their hit collaboration “We Found Love.” The performance was unfortunately underwhelming, as Rihanna seemed extremely hesitant to reach for those high notes, opting instead to let the backing track take care of that. Though her star power alone was enough to whip the crowd into an intense frenzy.

I’ll NEVER forget this moment. @badgalriri @calvinharris #coachella

Next up was Big Sean, who sang out on “Open Wide” with a much more impressive vocal performance.

Also featured in his performance was John Newman singing “Blame.”
