Pinned as one of the most hardest working DJs in the game, Swiss-based producer EDX has seen a prolific year of international performances and successful releases. In 2015, his tracks “Belong” and “Revered” put clubs into hysteria, and his remix of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’ collected well over 148 million plays on SoundCloud and Spotify combined. In preparation for the summer ahead, he’s recently announced his 10-week residency at Privilege Ibiza, and will be throwing down a number of No Xcuses takeovers in Los Angeles, Boston, and Canada’s Escapade Music Festival. While he isn’t playing his signature deep house grooves to crowds across the world, EDX is busying himself with a number of projects, including his weekly NoXcuses radio show which recently hit over 1 million downloads, and setting himself up for a stacked summer of more performances with brand new music.

EDX has recently announced his ‘Ibiza Sunrise’ Remix Of “Roadkill,” a revamped deep house cut of his 2008 remix of Dubfire’s debut single. Released off Spinnin’ Records, his new release is an illustration of his deep house talents that he’s developed throughout the years. Take a listen below and check out what EDX has to say about the impact this song continues to have in his career:

In 2007, Dubfire released his debut minimal techno record, ‘Roadkill’ and it’s a significant song in my career as I released a remix of it in 2008 that took over Ibiza and saw a ton of DJ support from Pete Tong, Armin Van Buuren, and Swedish House Mafia, to name a few. The song still brings back many good memories from that exciting era, so I decided to revitalize it with a fresh version that features my deeper, sexier style, about 10 years since its release. With the recent announcement of my Privilege Ibiza residency this summer, this new ‘Roadkill’ version couldn’t have come at a better time, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it on the dance floor.” – EDX
