Cymatics Fires Back At Getter, Accuses Him Of Stealing A Song From 2 Years Ago

Cymatics Fires Back At Getter, Accuses Him Of Stealing A Song From 2 Years Ago

We’re back again with more from the Cymatics vs Getter debate, and this time, Cymatics has submitted a rebuttal video to EDMfact. Rather than dispute Getter’s claim that Cymatics “stole” samples, sounds and designs from Getter’s work, Cymatics has instead attempted to place the burden of evidence on Getter.

In the new video, Cymatics accuses Getter of stealing a song idea from Parkinson White, titled “Honey Hip Flask.” Cymatics supposes that Getter’s track, “Stay A While,” uses the same chord progression in the intro and drop.

We’ll leave judgement up to our readers whether or not the tracks sound similar enough to be considered stolen. The fact remains that Cymatics technically hasn’t responded to Getter’s initial grievance, and it doesn’t seem like this feud will be over soon.
