Joe Mason came into our cross-airs last month with his official Chainsmoker’s “Inside Out” remix, topping out at #1 on Hype Machine’s remix chart and #3 overall, and we’ve been keeping eager tabs on him ever since. The young Aussie’s first two releases were something else, but this 3rd has us all kinds of excited; remixing the LA duo RKCB’s “Elevated,” Joe Mason takes us through a journey filled with fat synth swells and tight drums, encased in a warm layer of sweet soulful vocals. The 17-year old producer is a force to be reckoned with, and rumor has it he’s making a big trip from Sydney to LA in the coming months to crank out new material in the studio.
