Just A Gent Crafts Mind Blowing Cover Of Kid Cudi’s “Day N Night”

Calvin Harris – This Is What You Came For ft. Rihanna (Just A Gent Remix)

So Just A Gent is just about to release his long-awaited EP, Stories To Tell, on Friday. In order to help promote the album, he made an appearance on triple j’s morning program “Live A Version” in which artists cover tracks from other genres, often with stellar results.

For his own effort, JAG chose to cover Kid Cudi’s “Day N Night”, and honestly, holy fuck we’re speechless. Blending organic and electronic elements, strings, vocals, and rap, not to mention playing on a launch pad, it all comes together so flawlessly that we’re left with our jaws on the ground.

Even the radio hosts struggle to keep their composure when it’s all said and done. Check it out below!

Just A Gent had assistance from Thandi Phoenix, L-FRESH The LION & Mirrah.
