Excision just dropped this year’s installment of his annual Shambhala Mix, and included in the 85 minute spectacle is some crafty work with Datsik and Dion Timmer. Yes, we’re talking about the jaw-dropping Harambe tribute that caps off the mix, and now you can hear the track in its own right.
Everything about “Harambe” is quintessential 2016, and the track channels some serious wrath. All in all, it’s not too far off to think the rattle synth punches and aggro basslines are an extension of the already high emotions surrounding the circumstances of Harambe’s death.
