Listen To A Preview Of What So Not’s Remix Of “Stranger Things”

What So Not Is Definitely Playing A Surprise Set At Coachella Tomorrow

A live rip has just been uploaded of an unreleased What So Not remix of the opening theme from the popular Netflix original series “Stranger Things“.

While the audio is mired a bit in reverb and ambient noise from the crowd, the haunting arpeggios from the original track can be heard swelling towards the drop at the beginning of the clip. Suddenly, enormous future bass ripples and horns can be heard swirling around a simple but heavy percussion section. Elements of the original melody have traces in the new drop, albeit distorted and warped to fit What So Not’s signature sound. A vocalist can be heard laying down a few phrases towards the the end of the rip. Who it is, we can’t yet say.

Listen to the cut below, and check further down to hear Deadmau5’s own take on the series theme from earlier this season.
