Anomaly Music Collective Releases Second Compilation Album [Free Download]

If there’s one thing we love, it’s a good compilation. A well curated album that we can vibe to for hours is always welcome, especially on lazy afternoons like this one. That’s where Anomaly Music Collective comes in; their latest record is bursting at the seams with hot beats.

Following the first release in the label’s compilation series, Volume 2 displays their growth over the last few months. They continue to highlight the multifaceted sound of the Pacific Northwest, and they’re doing a damn good job of it. The release features a whopping 25 artists and a delightful amount of variety; dubstep, half-time, trap, future bass and more all make an appearance. We picked a few of our favorites to get you started, but you should definitely check out the full album as well. Happy listening!

 Clifford: Mimic

Representing for the half-time front, Clifford offers up an extra wonky tune that doesn’t slack on the low-end.

Mike.Ill Aristoi: Runner

The combination of rolling bass waves and digital synth sparkles on this one will have feeling like you’re floating through space. Plus, it features Bay Area beat-smith, Aristoi, who always brings the weird-sauce.

Subduktion: Secret Agents

An Anomaly Music veteran, it was no surprise to find Subduktion on the release. His tune feels like jungle meets The Matrix, with bass-heavy rhythms underscoring  atmospheric synth arrangements.
