16-year-old Xan Griffin just put out his first-ever original single and the future couldn’t be brighter for the young Californian producer. Don’t be surprised if you’ve seen his name around from his Deadmau5 remix, but having turned the corner and put out his first original it looks like he’s about to hit full stride.
Right off the bat, there’s something about Anuka’s vocals that just work for me time after time, song after song. Xan Griffin certainly makes it easy for a vocalist to shine with upbeat, sparkling production highlighted by a wonderfully pleasant melody. There’s not a lot of melodic producers out there truly changing the game, Illenium’s out there changing the game as we speak and if you ask me, we’ll likely see Xan Griffin join him soon enough.
