I’m almost always ready for some groovy disco house and hopefully, you guys are too. Because right now, we have this groovy new single from Sydney-based production duo Midnight Pool Party. I’ve raved about their material in the past, but “Waiting” signals a clear shift in music that retains the same elements I love about them, but might just be all that more commercially accessible.
“Waiting” is the first look we’ll get at the duo’s upcoming EP Dalliance which hopefully will have the same disco-laced ambiance throughout the entire record like it does here. The single itself is a slow-burning house tune that relies equally on the gorgeous vocals from an unknown singer, and also the wonderful production highlighted by fuzzy synths and lovely piano keys.
