It’s still seven months away, but Electric Forest has just dropped the initial lineup for each weekend of the festival. Yes, that’s right – if you forgot, Electric Forest will be two weekends in 2017 and each will have its own unique lineup.
The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, Claude VonStroke, Lotus, and many more will be performing on both weekends. On the First Weekend ODESZA, My Morning Jacket, Above & Beyond, Nero (Live), and many more will be performing. On the Second Weekend, RL Grime, DJ Snake, Thievery Corporation, Sub Focus, and many more take the stage.

In the spirit of Electric Forest’s commitment to building and nurturing community, the festival posted a “Call to Action” along with the initial EF17 artist lineup announcement. In a post on the EF website, which can be viewed HERE, EF Producers are encouraging the EF community to LISTEN in the face of monumental change. “Listen to new ideas, listen to difference, listen to the creative, listen to those in the margins, and listen to expression from music.” The freedom and acceptance that the Electric Forest experience has come to be known for is more important now than ever before. At EF17, the Forest Family will continue to seek a revolution of spirit. “Together, we aim for a truly epic experience. A celebration of purpose to match these historic times.”
