Brimming with sophistication and fantastic musicality is the new EP from D&B outfit The Vanguard Project. Newly released on Spearhead Records, ‘Vol.3’ marks another four tunes from producers Villem and BCee.
‘FLLN 4U’ marks the start of this outing, and its hazy, urgent sound completely hooks you in and refuses to let go. ‘From Inside’ is a transition to a more drum/bassline centric vibe, still retaining enough of a melody to remain musically charged. ‘Milestone’ is cinematic with those dreamy vocals and string arrangement, before ‘More Jungle’ ends on a rhythmical note, with nods to the more dance floor aimed end of the spectrum.
