This Hilarious Video Trolls Jack Ü’s Excessive Mic Use

Watch Jack Ü In 360 From Coachella, Weekend 2

LOS ANGELES, CA - FEBRUARY 08: Skrillex attends the Skrillex, Diplo, Kaskade, Nero And Tommy Trash Perform Live, Supporting DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES presented by Beats by Dr. Dre event at the AT&T Center on February 8, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Jesse Grant/WireImage)

DJ’s love interacting with their fans. Whether it’s a curt nod from across the club or blasting the front row with a precision-fired cake missile, these interactions fuel the atmosphere and draw even more adoration from undulating masses. Hopping on the mic is yet another way to hype the crowd, but all too often it turns into directing the party to jump here and crouch there, plucking audiences from the sonic journey.

Though our love for them knows no bounds, two of the biggest offenders of excessive mic use are Skrillex and Diplo. Together as Jack Ü, their combined microphone prowess is near enough to sprout a golden mane and go super saiyan. And while I won’t hold my breath for that, thanks to YouTuber Scabe, we’ve got the next best thing: Jack Ü’s debut performance at Ultra Music Festival, sped up every time the jump on the mic. I’ll just leave this here…
