Steve James was one of the most covered up-and-coming artists here at Your EDM thanks to some huge remixes in the past, shiny new singles like “In My Head” and “Renaissance”, and a production credit for Justin Bieber no less. Now, it’s his turn to be flipped as producer Kwon gives us a whimsical, feel-good take on “In My Head.”
RKCB’s vocals are very much the star of the show here, but Kwon more than delivers with some bedazzling production highlighted by a charming piano intro, well-constructed synths, and a surprisingly soft touch on the drop to allow RKCB’s vocals to really shine through.
