Moby has always been extremely outspoken about his distaste for our new president, Donald Trump. After being asked to DJ the inaugural ball, Moby wrote, “Hahahahaha, wait, Hahahaha, really?” And said he’d only do it if Trump released his tax returns. (Fat chance.)
Even before that, when Trump was first elected in November, Moby reacted by calling the election the result of a “racist and misogynistic” United States.
Now that we’re about a month into the presidency, Moby has doubled down, addressing the recent rumors of Russian involvement in the presidency, and an alleged conspiracy to create war in Iran and abroad for profit. Later, he revealed ways that people, those who don’t fall in line with Trump and his administration’s policies, could change things.
This included tips ranging from lobbying and calling representatives, making sure to vote in the midterm elections, to boycotting products and organizations that support Trump.
