Gravitas Recordings recently began their Infusion series: an ever-expanding collection of singles covering the bass music spectrum. The latest edition features one of our favorite West Coast bass hustlers: Elevated Mind.
This guys always comes correct and ‘Out For Justice’ definitely continues that trend. The tune truly showcases how much passion and energy he has for his craft, as it was expertly done. Layers on layers of sound design flow together seemingly without effort; there’s quite a bit going on throughout the track, but it never once feels cluttered or overwhelming. Bass-lines drift and flow under the syrupy growls of Elevated Mind’s many synths, with wonderfully crisp percussion adding flair and pushing the beat forward. This is his classic, glitch-inspired sound, but refined and evolved.
