Coachella 2017 is almost here and for festival goers, there are some big game time decisions to make with the insanely stacked schedule…
Friday night, Radiohead, Dillon Francis, D.R.A.M. and Loco Dice among others close out stages for the night, making for one big conflict. Travis Scott, DJ Shadow, Little Dragon and Empire of the Sun are all stacked on top of each other, with acts like Phantogram and The XX right on their heels. Attendees will have to choose between Glass Animals and Crystal Castles, Big Gigantic and Bonobo, and this is only the first day.
Saturday night, hip hop and EDM lovers will flip flop from the Outdoor Theatre to the Sahara tent, as Schoolboy Q is scheduled into DJ Snake, and Martin Garrix into Gucci Mane. Side note — how are Garrix fans going to pack into the Sahara tent? He might have been a better fit for an outdoor setup, but probably didn’t want to be billed directly under Snake. And how is he not closing the Sahara tent? Other acts going head-to-head include Tycho vs. Mura Masa and Thundercat vs. Gryffin.
Sunday night is full of tough decisions including the biggest conflict of the weekend — Kendrick Lamar, Justice, New Order, What So Not, and Marshmello all going on at pretty much the same exact time. Before that, it’s Lorde vs. Kehlani vs. Jai Wolf vs. Galantis. Porter Robinson & Madeon seems like a no-brainer, but are also up against DJ Khaled.
Keep in mind, the Do Lab is full of surprises and tons of great talent like Mr. Carmack, Bleep Bloop, FKJ, Shiba San, and so many more unmissable acts.
All conflicts aside, just go with your gut and let each night take you where it wants to!
