I’m always down for a bit of deep house in my life and when it’s an official remix of one of my favorite tracks you can assume that I’ll all about it. Emerging Dutch producer JLV has seen some success in the past with some deep house remixes, but this new take on Bronze Whale and Popeska’s collaborative “Imagine” is probably his best to date. Plus, he’s got the CloudKid Records stamp of approval which is more than enough for me!
The track features a strong bass line and hauntingly slow instrumentation that builds impeccably and culminates in a catchy future house drop that should set dance floors everywhere alight. JLV demonstrates a strong ability to blend several styles of house music into one catchy remix.
