In the social media driven world we live in, an artist doesn’t just randomly tweet another artist a heart unless they’re planning on collaborating, right?
Well, that’s the justification we need right now… This love tweet from The Chainsmokers to Justin Bieber needs to be taken seriously because it could mean the ultimate EDM-pop hit is in the works.

Fans have naturally started speculating a collaboration, but many have overlooked that these guys actually made an appearance together at 1 Oak in NYC this week, which could have led to the somewhat cryptic tweet.

And, yeah, we’re talking about the same performance where The Biebs forgot the lyrics to the hit Spanish song on which he is a feature, “Despacito.” Hopefully if he collaborates with The Chainsmokers, the lyrics will be easier to remember.
