This year has been one filled with excitement, especially in the music festival realm. Ultra kicked things off in perfect fashion as Middlelands followed just a couple months after, generating buzz like never before. Summertime staples like EDC, Bonnaroo, and Electric Forest are all right around the corner, but there’s one festival in particular that’s set to make quite a debut this year: Deep Tropics.
On August 5-6, Deep Tropics Music, Art, & Style Festival will be setting sail in the heart of Nashville at the historic War Memorial Auditorium & Courtyard. They will be bringing quite an impressive lineup too, featuring sets from Justin Martin, Gramatik, Mija, Machine Drum, SNBRN, to name just a few!
If you’re looking to catch a breather throughout the festival, they will also be hosting what’s called the Tranquil Temple. Here, the tropical auditorium will be transformed into a greenhouse with plant-life and peaceful ambiance. In addition to movement arts, meditation & sound therapy programs, you will have the opportunity to escape the heat in an air-conditioned environment with various lounges and other group activities.
In a city where the electronic scene is still slowly catching on, it’s incredible to see such a festival like Deep Tropics arrive, all with the intent to provide a deeper connection with the community and a deeper experience through music and art.
The pre-sale beings June 13th at 12PM EST, and then tickets will officially go on-sale starting June 15 at 12 PM EST. Visit the Deep Tropics website and also check the video below for more info!
