The Chainsmokers Debut At #3 On Forbes’ Highest Paid DJ List Of 2017

Discover The Real Names Of Your Favorite DJs

While Marshmello debuted at #8 on this year’s Highest Paid DJ List from Forbes, another name that we all know entered at a much, much higher place. We’re talking, of course, about The Chainsmokers.

The duo of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart has had a whirlwind year, after releasing their debut album, as well as selling out a massive arena tour and putting out a collaboration with Coldplay. That’s why it’s not entirely surprising to see that they’ve debuted at #3 on Forbes’ Highest Paid DJ List Of 2017 with a staggering $38,000,000. For reference, The Chainsmokers get paid as much as Martin Garrix and Zedd combined.

The Chainsmokers have residencies in Vegas on top of all their standard touring, allowing for an even greater revenue stream. Of course, they are also now Grammy-winning artists, which bumps up their fees just a bit.

Forbes’ rankings of the world’s highest-paid DJs take into account earnings from June 2016 through June 2017. Fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not subtracted. The list is created with the help of data from Nielsen, Pollstar, Bandsintown, Songkick, as well as interviews with industry insiders and some of the DJs themselves.
