Jungle Cakes Releases ‘Welcome to the Jungle Vol. 5’

Let it never be said that the bass music department at Your EDM neglects the origins of drum and bass, dubstep, neurofunk and halftime, especially when Deekline and Ed Solo are involved. The skanky, skanky label Jungle Cakes has just released their fifth Welcome to the Jungle EP thanks to these hard-and-fast rudebwoys.

The fifth installment of this jungle series features steppy mixes of at least four jungle classics, including “Ready or Not,” “Funky Child,” “5 on It” and “Walk N Skank.” “5 on It” is a VIP of the original mix by JFB, and “Walk N Skank” is also a VIP by the original Serial Killaz. The EP also includes a free download for blogs, “Magnificent” by both Deekline and Ed Solo.

For younger EDM fans who are interested in the dub-infused wonders that jungle and ragga hold, Welcome to the Jungle Vol. 5 is a great release on which to cut one’s teeth. Ed Solo, Deekline, JFB, Smash & Grab and Serial Killaz are some of the best examples of this fine godfather of bass music, so listen up.

Welcome to the Jungle vol. 5 is out now and available to play or purchase by clicking here.
